Menu Plan Monday #24

Week of May 14-20, 2007
Monday: Pizza
NOTE: Mondays are Pizza nights at OurHome. I am usually out during the day running errands and by the end I am usually too tired to think about cooking and I just pop in a Red Baron Pizza for dinner.
Tuesday: Italian Beef on buns, tossed salad
Wednesday: Leftover Italian Beef
Thursday: Teriyaki Salmon (or Tilapia) w/ Lipton's Chicken Flavored Rice, steamed veggies
NOTE: When I was pregnant with DearDaughter1 I ate fish once a week to get my Omega-3 intake. I've been horrible about eating fish during this pregnancy and am beginning this once a week fish deal again. Therefore, Teriyaki Salmon or Teriyaki Tilapia will be on the menu at least once a week. It's my favorite way of making fish.
Friday: Spaghetti w/ meatsauce, steamed veggies, garlic bread
Saturday: Easy Thai Chicken w/ white rice
NOTE: I didn't get to try this recipe last week because I made BBQ meatballs instead for DearHubby's birthday...
Sunday: Leftover Easy Thai Chicken w/ white rice

Happy Monday! I've never tried tilapia, but hear it's good so I'll have to try it one of these days! I take fish oil caplets each day (when I remember) which aren't too bad. Anyway, have a great week!! :)

We should get in the habit of Talipia or Salmon once a week, we normally do a fish, but sometimes its fried and its catfish (that is the kids favorite).
The Italian beef looks great!

Smart move on having fish. We need to do that too, but I just haven't done it. Thanks for the inspiration!

Yuuuummmmmmm - looks like a good week. I'm making Tilapia this week, too. It's got such a good "non-fishy" taste. The whole "errand running Monday" sounds just like around here! We end up with Mac and cheese + veggies on Mondays a LOT.

It all sounds delicious!

I've made the Thai chicken before and it is out of this world!

Have a great week,
