Last week I hosted a little luncheon at my home and served Mocha Pudding Cake. I made the cake the night before and it was delightful straight out of the oven. It was still delightful the next day, but I must admit that I liked it better warm.

I also served Cream of Brocolli Soup at my luncheon. I've made it before and the first time I made it, my guests thought they were eating at a gourmet restaurant. This too is a delight, hot or cold and it's easy to make!

My husband and I met over a bowl of Cream of Broccoli Soup. I was a waitress at Friendlys restaurant and he was a customer. He asked me out when I came back with his bill.
