Menu Plan Monday #13

Week of February 26-March 4, 2007
Note: We just returned from Houston, Texas and this week will be a busy week for me, so my menu will be easy and repetitive.
Monday: Pizza
NOTE: Mondays are Pizza nights at OurHome. I am usually out during the day running errands and by the end I am usually too tired to think about cooking and I just pop in a DiGiorno Pizza for dinner.
Tuesday: Roast Beef, mashed potatoes, green beans
Wednesday: Leftover Roast Beef
Thursday: Cream of Mushroom Chicken w/ Uncle Ben's rice, steamed veggies
Friday: Leftover Cream of Mushroom Chicken
Saturday: Red beans & rice with beef, steamed veggies
Sunday: Lipton's Teriyaki Noodles w/ beef, white rice, steamed veggies

Update from Last Week:
These are the different restaurants we dined from while we were in Houston, Texas for DearHubby's knee surgery. I was very impressed by the variety of cuisines that lined the main roads in Houston. There were so many different restaurants to choose from that it was very difficult to decide where to go. Anyway, from going to Luby's and Pappa's BBQ, it seems that a Texas style restaurant is cafteria like where you would go through a line of food and choose your entree and sides. I enjoyed both Luby's and Pappa's BBQ. I had a 1/2 rack of baby back ribs from Pappa's for about $8+. It was delish!!! Unfortunately, since we couldn't dine out much because of needing to rest and rehab DearHubby's knees, we weren't able to really try out more different cuisines, like the Thai, Japanese, or Chinese restaurants. However, it was still an interesting and yummy food week, especially since I didn't need to cook!

Those look like delicious dinners! Have a great week.
I like Panera too--and have one WALKING DISTANCE from my home. I have to really exercise my willpower....
