Menu Plan Monday #30
NOTE: No new recipe to try this week. My pregnancy is just making it more and more difficult to cook and so I've been choosing easy meals.
Week of June 25-July 1, 2007
Monday: Teriyaki Salmon w/ Lipton's Chicken Flavored Rice, salad
NOTE 1: Do not buy fresh salmon that's already packaged at Wal-Mart. 2 or 3 weeks in a row now, my salmon has been spoiled. I've wasted about $30 because I've had to throw the fish away...Last week, the fish didn't smell too bad, so I actually cooked it. When it was done and I tasted it, it still tasted foul. I didn't have time to cook anything else, so I had DearHubby run out to get us something from Mc Donald's since I had a coupon.
NOTE 2: When I was pregnant with DearDaughter1 I ate fish once a week to get my Omega-3 intake. I've been horrible about eating fish during this pregnancy and am beginning this once a week fish deal again. Therefore, Teriyaki Salmon or Teriyaki Tilapia will be on the menu at least once a week. It's my favorite way of making fish.
Tuesday: Beef lo mein w/ white rice, salad
NOTE: We had teriyaki beef last week instead...After throwing the fish away, I couldn't throw away the teriyaki sauce I made, so I saved it and cooked teriyaki beef.
Wednesday: Campbell's Chicken Bake (the kind where everything is provided for you in a box)
NOTE: Yeah, I'm really getting lazy now. I'll be 36 weeks along in my pregnancy and I am feeling the physical discomfort!!!
Thursday: "Caprial Pence" marinated chicken, Uncle Ben's rice, salad
Friday: Pizza, salad
NOTE: Mondays are usually Pizza nights at OurHome, but I'm moving it to Friday of this week, just because. I will pop in a Red Baron Pizza for dinner.
Saturday: Italian Beef on buns, salad
Sunday: Leftovers
