Verse of the Day:
“The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)

It's amazing how one day I am in high spirits and then the next day I'm not.

Yesterday was quite a difficult day for me to get through. I had a lot on my to do list to accomplish and I was very impatient with DearDaughter and I yelled at her a lot. The irony to what I do is that I know yelling at DearDaughter is wrong and yet I do it anyway. It's like something comes over me and I totally lose control.

Anyway, I am quite ashamed of myself for sinning against God and DearDaughter, therefore, I'll end this post here. I am thankful that God delights us me because I am so ashamed of who I am that it's even difficult to go to God to seek His forgiveness.

I do be ashamed of myself for my imperfections before God too. I admire your humility though.

I think we all go through that, I find myself doing the same with the kids and I know it's wrong but I can't help it at the time....I just keep praying and asking for guidance and help in keeping my cool during those times.

We are human. We have a sinful nature. We make mistakes. The important thing is that you recognize this and bring it before God with your repentence. God is forgiving and understanding.

I hope you are feeling better!
