It has been a tough week! The toughest part about it all is that I haven't been getting enough sleep. For some reason I kept waking up 2 or 3 times a night and I couldn't figure out why I wasn't sleeping well. Then, last night, I woke up semi-soaked in sweat and realized that I must have been hot. It's been quite warm this week and with all the rain, pretty humid. However, I kept our big comforter on our bed and I think that kept me too warm.
Too much has passed to recount what's happened in the last 2 days. I felt like I was back at work again because most of this week has been filled with the coordination of plans and lots of phone calls. Anyway, I just praise God for giving me the strength to make it through those days and this week.
Today I am planning to pack as much as I can.
Tomorrow we are having a family and their Little One from church over to "celebrate" DearDaughter's birthday with her friend. Therefore, today, I am also going to bake the hummingbird cake. That way all I have to do tomorrow is my quick clean up for company routine and cook the spaghetti.
We are quite excited for our California trip. I hope we are able to get some rest.
