I'm not really into carving pumpkins. As an alternative, I decided to decorate our pumpkin with fallen leaves.
1. Pick a handful of leaves from the ground. Find leaves from different trees and leaves of different colors. DearDaughter1 and I found oak tree leaves, maple tree leaves, etc... and we found red, yellow, brown, and orange colored leaves.
2. Place leaves between contact paper or iron them between 2 pieces of wax paper.
3. Cut excess contact paper or wax paper around leaves.
4. Using double-sided tape or invisible tape, stick the leaves onto the pumpkin.
