March 6, 2007

Verse of the Day:
“ O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.” (Isaiah 25:1)

I don't have time to be wasting, yet I took the time to solve the Rubik's cube. Ok, so I "cheated" and looked up the solution. However, even though you know how to do it, it still takes some mind work...It took me a total of about 3 hours yesterday. I worked on it when I had time. It was a bit refreshing to help me get my mind off things. Perhaps when I need to clear my mind, I'll mix up the Rubik's cube and just get away for some time. It felt like such a great accomplishment when I made that last turn and the cube displayed solid colors on all faces.

Well, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed as it is already March and a few of my bigger goals for the beginning of the year are still left unaccomplished. Just to help keep me accountable to these household goals, I will jot them down here:
- Finish Federal and State Income Tax filing
- Get vacuum tuned up
- Get water system checked
- Get septic system cleaned
- Finish organizing laundry room

As I work on my daily household goals, I need to remember these bigger goals so that I can make time for them too.

I'll post updates along the way!
