March 5, 2007

Verse of the Day:
“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” (Deuteronomy 6: 6-7)

So my goal is to clear up this laundry room by the end of March. I'll try to stay optimistic about it.

A lot of the boxes are the stuff that my in-laws brought down from Illinois. They are filled with 20+ years of DearHusband's memories.

This weekend I finally built up the courage to go through the brown box in the front. DearHubby and I had so much fun! It was filled with old school work. There was actually a story in there that DearHubby wrote when he was about 12 or 13 which we think is good enough to publish as a children's book, so we're excited about that.

Anyway, as I rummaged through this stuff, which by the way I only got partly through, I found an old Rubik's cube. That gave me the idea to start Monday Memories on my blog. I don't know if it'll be a weekly thing, but as I find something interesting from the past, I'll post on it. So, my first Monday Memory will be about the Rubik's cube.
