Hi everyone,

Just a quick update to let you know how the ministry is going here in Argentina!

I'd really appreciate you taking a minute to read this, because I'm very passionate and excited about what is going on for the kingdom down here! Plus, if you hang in until the bottom, there is some surprising news!

For those of you praying for me, and financially supporting me, you are my partners- don't forget that!

1. This past week I ran a three day camp for 60 elementary kids, with a staff of 10! It was wonderful, and God helped me to organize and delegate it successfully. We had games, songs, crafts, snacks, chapel time, lessons, etc. I even brought in a moonwalk and had 60 tshirts made and donated by a parent's shop. I believe the kids were blessed as we shared a devotional each morning on the love of God. Many of the parents reported back to me that their kids enjoyed it allot!

Next,

2. The international church is leaving for northern Argentina soon to do another annual missions trip to one of the extremely poor areas. I was able to go last year, and help run VBS for the kids and evangelism services for the adults. I'm able to go again this year, and I'm looking forward to seeing the same kids I was able to bond with last trip, in hopes that we'll see Christ working in their lives.

Also,

3. BAICA is being blessed daily by God as many people are continuing to donate towards the future of the school! We are on schedule to move next week into the new building, and are even planning to remerge with a mission agency called "Network of International Christian Schools" this coming year. The kids, the families, the church, the teachers have all been able to come together, contribute and keep BAICA running!

Also, due to your helpful financial support, I have been able to make a monthly pledge out of my salary to assist BAICA financially. As you give to me, I am able to give to them!

Lastly, this journey here is Argentina is quickly coming to an end for me! I appreciate all your support and would love for you all to continue that in the next year because I've made the decision to stay abroad and keep working for christian internatinal schools !! Kids, Teaching and Sharing the Gospel in various cultures motivates me beyond anything else I've found. I'm very excited about what God is doing through these schools and have truely found my calling through this experience!

My hope is that you will continue to stay in close contact with me (via email) as I travel, and keep contributing (with prayer and financial gifts) to the work God is doing through me.

I'll be announcing my next location soon, but until then, keep praying for ARGENTINA!!!

Love to you all,

Mariah

"You don't solve poverty problems by dabbling in the metaphysical...

You solve the problems of poverty by understanding the poverty variables on the ground, listening to the people, by talking to the people and finding out what worries them and factoring in its international dimensions."
