Verse of the Day:
“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” (1 Peter 2:2-3)

Went to the mall today for DearDaughter's 15th Month pictures. Since I rushed out of the house before eating lunch I treated myself today. After the picture session DearDaughter and I went to Sakura, a Japanese vendor at the mall's food court, and I got us a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl for $2.50. Then, since it's been awhile since I've been to the mall, I justified that it was ok to treat myself to some ice cream. There were no ice cream vendors at the food court so after walking around awhile, I ran into this candy store that sold Hershey's ice cream. I got myself a waffle cone with a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream. Yummy!!!

As I walked around the mall with my ice cream cone, I wandered into Bath and Body Works. They were having a sale on spring gift items and they had a new fragrance out, Wild Honeysuckle. For the Wild Honeysuckle, the sale was buy 3 and get 1 free. They also had a sale on the anti-bacterial line, buy 3 for $10. I decided to get the creamy and the foamy anti-bacterial handsoap and the anti-bacterial handlotion as a birthday gift for a friend. I also bought the foamy anti-bacterial handsoap and the anti-bacterial handlotion for me. The Wild Honeysuckle smells so sweet you'd think you could eat it!!! Anyway, they also had a cute little baby purse for $2 that I got for DearDaughter and to put inside her purse, I purchased a yellow mint tin with the cover decorated with a bright pink daisy for $3. Although I wouldn't normally pay that much for mints, the tin was cute and I decided that I hardly splurge on DearDaughter, so I paid the $3. I was really surprised when I opened up the tin because the mints inside were shaped as daisies. How cool!!!

It was such a beautiful day that when we got home DearDaughter and I just spent some time outside until DearHusband got home.

So that was my day. I did get most of my chores done in the morning and so I didn't feel guilty for enjoying the rest of my afternoon just hanging out at the mall.
