Celebrating the 1st Day of Spring

This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in Him!!!

Today is the official first day of spring and what a wonderful day to be born on it!!! Our DearFriends' baby was born today and though I don't normally post names on this blog, this little one's name needs to be shared because it's so beautiful!!! Little Baby Ava Faith was born today!!! Babies are such precious gifts from the Lord and seeing Little Ava just made me anticipate the birth of our Little One in July!!!

So, after doing most of my chores this morning, DearDaughter and I headed out for the day. I went to my chiropractic appointment and then since I was so close to another DearFriend's house, we stopped by for a visit. I swung by Dunkin' Donuts to get my free iced coffee and this DearFriend prepared chicken salad sandwiches for us. It was great as DearDaughter was able to play with DearFriend's Little One while I visited with DearFriend.

After a few hours on this spontaneous play date, DearDaughter and I returned home so that I could get the bathroom cleaned and to persevere through my laundry room organization project.

When DearHubby arrived home, we got ready to visit Little Ava...

So, that's how we spent the first day of spring.
