Menu Plan Monday #19

Week of April 9-15, 2007
Monday: Leftover BBQ Chicken, macaroni & cheese, potato salad, green beans
Tuesday: Cream of Mushroom Chicken w/ Uncle Ben's Rice, steamed veggies
Wednesday: Pizza
NOTE: Mondays are usually Pizza nights at OurHome, but it will be on Wednesday this week. I have a full schedule this Wednesday and I know by the end of the day I will be too tired to think about cooking and so I will just pop in a Red Baron Pizza for dinner.
Thursday: Teriyaki Salmon w/ Lipton's Chicken Flavored Rice, steamed veggies
NOTE: When I was pregnant with DearDaughter1 I ate fish once a week to get my Omega-3 intake. I've been horrible about eating fish during this pregnancy and am beginning this once a week fish deal again. Therefore, Teriyaki Salmon or Teriyaki Tilapia will be on the menu at least once a week. It's my favorite way of making fish.
Friday: Store bought roasted chicken w/ white rice, steamed veggies
Saturday: Slow Cooker Pineapple Pork Roast w/ Uncle Ben's Rice, steamed veggies
Sunday: Leftover Pork Roast w/ Uncle Ben's Rice, steamed veggies

Update from last week's menu: (no picture of dishes)
I made the Pizza Pancakes last week. DearDaughter and I liked it, but DearHubby didn't. There were too many veggies in the pancake for him. Therefore, the next time I make a batch, I'll need to make a separate one for him with just pepperoni.

I also deviated from my weekend menu because we invited another family to celebrate Christ's Ressurrection with us. This was our Weekend Menu:
- BBQ Chicken (from a local stand)
- Green Beans Casserole
- Country White Bread

I'm bad about eating much fish either as it's not my favorite. I keep seeing tilapia recipes everywhere, I'm going to have to try it as I've never had it. Have a great week!

That pineapple pork roast sounds good.

My hubby doesn't like fish so it's practically never on my menu. Teriyaki Salmon sounds delicious though!

No fish this week. I promise to get it back on the menu for next week.
I like your idea of a theme night, like Pizza. When my pain is really bad, this would be a good thing for our teen to make.
Thanks for the ideas.
